When you build a home using our process, we guarantee its’ performance for two years. One by-product of using proper construction materials and methods is predictable performance. We model each home using software designed to predict energy use based on the characteristics of the home like insulation, window values, and proper construction techniques. We take this prediction and base our guarantee off of it once we apply your utility’s current rates.  Then, If your home uses more energy for heating and cooling, we'll pay for it. Another area of performance we guarantee for our clients that use our packages is comfort. When we do all the right things right, we can guarantee that the center of all the rooms in the home stay within three degrees of the thermostat set point. Ask any builder to do that!  One room in particular, the bonus room, or room-over-the-garage, has a very high instance of comfort issues. Most builders don't understand the causes, let alone know how to fix it. They just try adding heating and cooling capacity to try to overcompensate for the problem. This costs the owner money for the life of the home.
